The festival
From the Joan Bosch Private Foundation, owner of the ERAM University School, we started this project in 2021, understanding it as a contribution to the cultural ecosystem of Girona. It is an initiative that is presented as a natural effect in the evolution of the foundation’s own objectives and trajectory, focused on research, qualification and professionalization in the fields of visual and performing arts culture.
Festival Z is a showcase of living arts and shows created by and for young people. And, at the same time, it is a space for professional dialogue that promotes reflection on young creation and it is born with the desire to contribute to the visibility and professionalization of stage creators under 30 years of age and residents in Catalonia.
Professionals
Festival Z is a platform for the accompaniment and promotion of stage productions created in Catalonia, with a special emphasis on productions from Girona and the surrounding area. This initiative aims to create quality and business opportunities, becoming a meeting place of reference for professionals of all backgrounds, ages and experiences.

Call for applications Festival Z 2025
Call for applications open from October 28 to December 20, 2024.
The call for applications is divided into 3 different participation modalities:
Modality 1: Exhibition
Modality 2: Creative residency and public showing of the process
Modality 3: Presentation of projects in pre-production phase
In the case of submitting a proposal for more than one modality, a separate form must be completed for each proposal and modality.
