MESTRANÇA

‘Mestrança’: a nickname used to refer to a food additive that adulterates the product.

Mestrança is born from the universe of the pig slaughter, an act closely linked to the land of Mallorca.

The proposal explores the loss of identity based on the being that is born to be consumed and that becomes the fuel of a machine. In this installation, the body and space play a fundamental role, constantly alternating and modifying each other.
