The awards recognise individuals, projects and organisations that stand out for their excellence, innovation and contribution to the cultural and social sector.<\/p>\n

The Impact category rewards initiatives that have had a significant effect on their environment, whether social, cultural or in the creation and consolidation of communities. Festival Z shares its nomination with the Xarxa de Pobles Creatius (Network of Creative Villages), which brings together fourteen municipalities from four regions with a firm commitment to creation and links with the territory, and with Periferia Cimarronas, a solidarity economy project promoted by black and Afro-descendant people who understand culture as a fundamental right and an act of resistance.<\/p>\n

The Festival Z has been nominated for its work as an exhibition space and springboard for companies and artists under the age of thirty<\/strong>, giving them the opportunity to showcase their projects in the rehearsal, creation or finished stages, and contributing to their professionalisation and projection within the cultural sector.<\/p>\n

The Premis Gesti\u00f3 Cultural awards ceremony will take place on Monday 20, October<\/strong> at Sala Paral\u00b7lel 62 in Barcelona.<\/p>\n
