Producing, achieving results, hitting targets, accumulating goals… Often in the artistic world (and in everything else), it seems there is no time to stop and allow for space. But, at the same time, everyone knows that the best recipes are those cooked over a low flame, simmering slowly, without rushing. That is why this year at Festival Z we are adopting the motto <\/span>A poc a poc i bon teatre<\/b> (Slowly and good theatre)<\/span><\/em>. <\/span><\/p>\n

We celebrate a qualitative look at creative processes. We focus on the team, the co-responsibility of all the people who make it possible for a show to premiere. In an increasingly hyper-productive and frenetic context, we reclaim a measured pace as a form of resistance. And we also defend that this is a way to make <\/span>good theatre<\/span><\/i>, a theatre that contributes to the cultural fabric, that allows itself to be accompanied by the network and the environment, that opens doors, and that asks questions. <\/span><\/p>\n

THE IMAGE: THE TURTLE<\/b><\/p>\n

The turtle is a patient and steady animal. It moves forward without haste but with determination, sustaining its own rhythm and carrying its home on its back. It reminds us that processes need time, that growing implies persisting, and that reaching far does not always mean going fast. An animal with a long life expectancy that is capable of surviving in the most adverse conditions, the turtle invites us to take the necessary time\u2014not only to look after ourselves, but as a form of resistance. To enjoy the journey without thinking only of the finish line, and to understand theatre as a space for care, constancy, and shared time.<\/span><\/p>\n
