V And Oxegen Tickets Out Same Day: Fri, 6th March,2009
Blurb by robertMark the date music lovers ! This Friday the 6th of March 2009, two major music events are putting tickets out for sale to the general public. Oxegen and The V Festival.
This years V Festival 2009 is due to be held at two sites at the same time, Hylands Park,Chelmsford and Weston Park.Stafford shire on Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd August.
It will boasts such artists as The Killers, Oasis, Snow Patrol, Elbow, Razorlight and Keane will be among the line up.
Then, as you can imagine, there has been a great deal of excitement over the event, with fans clambering to try and get ticket, but having to wait.
Well, on the 6th of March at 10am, the tickets for V 2009 will finally be coming out.
They are expected to be priced at £152.50 for a weekend with camping. £132.50 for no camping and a day ticket is £73.50
Then, if the release of V tickets was not a big enough music event for one day, it turns out that the Oxegen Festival, at Punchestown Racecous, Naas in County Kildare in Ireland will have tickets coming out on Friday as well.
Oxegen will also feature Blur and The Killers. Along with artists like the Manic Street Preachers, US rap star The Game, Kings Of Leon, James, Snow Patrol, Elbow,Keane and Florence & The Machine among many others.
Music fans have just been as eager to get their hands on passes to possibly the biggest music event of the year in Ireland,. It is due to take place at Punchestown Racecourse, Naas in County Kildare over the weekend of Friday the 10th to Sunday the 12th of July 2009.
Tickets for the festival are also to be released to the general public on Friday the 6th of March at 8am.
The event organisers are keeping the cost of tickets at the same as last year due to a freeze on prices.
That makes them €224.50 for 3 day including camping ticket.For an additional €20 music lovers can purchase a 4 day ticket which has a camping ticket set to take in Thursday as well.
There is also a special offer where fans who bought Early Bird tickets before 31st December 08. They can have a €20 cash back. Either on-site at the festival, or where they bought the tickets beforehand.In 2009 Oxegen is bringing in a Ticket Deposit Scheme. Ticket purchasers can pay a €120 deposit to secure tickets and pay the remaining balance before Thursday 30th April 2009.There are a maximum of four tickets per person.
Last but not least, the ecologically conscious event looks to promote car pooling, by providing a car pass free of charge with every four tickets purchased.
The ultimate
