T in The Park will have some urban rap this summer, with the news that British hip hop star The Streets AKA Mike Skinner has been added to the line up.

It will be the third time that The Streets will be at the festival. He will been performing his classic cuts, along with tracks from his new yet to be released CD.

Although Mike Sinner has experienced the energy of T in The Park before, for others it will be their first time. Those making their debut appearance in 2009 include Ladyhawke, Fools and new sensations Florence & The Machine.

They will joining other confirmed artists such as the reformed Blur and The Specials and US rockers The Killers and Kings of Leon. Along with home grown talent, Franz Ferdinand, Elbow, Snow Patrol, Bloc Party and Manic Street Preachers.

The event will also feature excellent artists like the sexy Katy Perry, Australian punk rock band Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds and Pendulum. To say nothing of Razorlight, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and a solo Peter Doherty. Then, not to mention the white hot White Lies, said to be all set to rock The Radio One?NME Stage.

Tickets will go on sale at Friday the 27th of February, at 9am.

Saturday and Sunday combined tickets are priced at £145.A weekend camping (including Friday arena access) ticket is priced at £170. Car park tickets which must be bought in advance are priced at £17.50, and a Thursday camping upgrade is priced at £10.
