T In The Park

It is that time again! T In The Park 2008!

When Balado becomes the centre of the musical world. And artists and fans from all over the planet gather for three days of fun and craziness, at one of Europe`s premiere festivals. Held every year in Scotland since 1994. it may have taken place at Stathclyde Park to begin with. But ever since 1997, its home has been an abandoned air base at Kinross-shire. Which is once again at the centre of the action.

This year, 2008, the festival will take place over three blistering days in July. The 11th, the 12th and the 13th. However, in an attempt to limit any traffic problems it has been announced that the campsite will be open the day before, on the 10th of July. So that you can pitch your tent in early.

Because you would not want to miss the boat. Just check out this line up. All set to appear at `T in The Park`. Sponsored by Tennents Lager, which lent the festival their name.

Such was the demand for this years festival, when 40,000 `early bird` tickets were snapped up in just over an hour, even before the line up was announced, the day that they came out, at 09.00am on the 10th of July, 2007. A second batch of tickets then went out on sale around six months later, on the 16th of February 2008. Those tickets may have sold out in just under an hour, but don`t give up all hope. you may be able to pick some up if you check out the Ticketmaster Exchange. Good luck.
