If you were ever silly enough to be in any doubt, as to the demand for tickets to T in The Park, then you should have seen what happened, on Tuesday the 15th of July.

Because that was when, at twelve noon, the first batch of tickets for 2009 were released.

They hadn’t even swept up all of the empty beer cans from this years festival, and yet, within ten hours, they were all scooped up.

It was incredible.
