The organizers of the ninth Global Gathering have announced that Pendulum, Orbital and The Prodigy will be the headlining dance acts at this years festival.
Due to take place on Friday the 24th to Saturday the 25th of July at Long Marston Airfield, near Stratford on Avon in Warwickshire.
The Prodigy are known for their intense, exciting live shows, so they are certain to have a brilliant set.
Orbital will be marking twenty years of producing great music at this years festival. They will be performing classic tracks and anthems with their trademark fun loving, partying style.
There also looks set to be an interesting meeting at Global Gathering, when the Australian outfit Pendulum appear alongside an act whose track they remixed. They previously had a hit with The Prodigy’s ‘Voodoo People’. Now you can see the drum and bass sensation at this summers festival.
“This year’s festival once again promises electronic music fans a stellar line-up. With the live stage, eight musical arenas, including the Godskitchen marquee, the biggest in Europe holding a staggering 15000 people.”explained Global Gatherings organiser James Algate.
“This summer’s weekend is set to be a crowd pleaser. The festival has always been pioneering in improving the customer experience and listening to feedback through the busy online community. This year is no exception and we are pleased to announce a deposit ticketing scheme for this summers festival.”
When buying tickets for this years festival, you could take advantage of a brand new ticketing system. It is a scheme that gives you the option of paying in instalments. Festival goers can put down a £50 deposit beforehand, then make up and the balance before midnight on Friday 15th May 2009.
