Dreams are made of this. There are rumours that super group Fleetwood Mac are set to make it to Glastonbury.
Fans will be searching for tickets everywhere.
It is thought that Mick Fleetwood, Stevie NIcks and all are planning to make the festival a stop on their`’Fleetwood Mac Unleashed: Hits Tour 2009′.
The band are expected to play on the Saturday. They will performing their greatest hits including `Go Your Own Way`, `Dont Stop Thinking About Tomorrow`and `Big Love` among others.
Fleetwood Macs appearance at Glastonbury will mark the release of a new CD/DVD version of their landmark LP ‘Rumours’. It that will boast formerly deleted tracks and unseen footage.
The festival will last for five days from Wednesday 24th until Sunday 28th June 2009. It will take place at Worthy Farm, Pilton, Somerset.
The event has previously sold out. However, a few cancelled tickets are due to go on sale on Sunday 5th April 2009, at 9am.
You must be already registered though before you are eligible to purchase one. They are expected to cost £175 (plus a booking fee of £5).
The organizer ofthe Glastonbury Festival are yet to reveal the complete line-up for this summers event though, but we will keep you informed.
