Pendulum Bedlam At T In The Park 2008
Blurb by Festivalz Hobo![]()
Pendulum treated T in The Park 2008 festival goers to one of the best live sets I have ever seen at T In The Park. I didn’t know much about Australians Pendulum except of course the excellent Propane Nightmares single off the new album In Silico.

It’s kind of difficult to quantify their style - drum and base - indi - electronica - driving rock - anthem - metal - old style rave! I don’t know, but they had the crowd going mad for the entire duration of their high powered festival gig, including the indi die hards I was with.
You can see the madness at BBC T In The Park (Pendulum). I penciled them in for Sunday after I saw them play at some music festival (can’t remember which!) and saw the crowd go wild. It helped they didn’t clash with anybody I hadn’t seen who was a must see and also I knew the King Tuts Tent was a good place to be.
I was there that weekend to see Ian Brown, The Verve, The Charlatans and Primal Scream. Old school stuff, I know, so I wanted a change of pace and Pendulum delivered!
I was f*cking knackered! From beginning to end, the crowd was going mad.
So - mission accomplished. Pendulum certainly got us up and bouncing. They aren’t everybody’s cup of tea but nobody could say that wasn’t an excellent set - definitely one of the best I saw at T In The Park that day, and the surprise act of the whole weekend.
