Word has reached us that there are currently no more tickets on sale for this summers Glastonbury Festival . However, the organisers have let it known that they are pleased with how many have already been sold.

They would also like festival goers to realize that those who have already paid the £50 deposit can still buy their tickets, if they pay the balance up by 23:59 on Sunday 1st February.

The event organisers have announced that from Monday 2nd February , there will be a limited number of full price tickets on sale. They cost £175 (plus a booking fee of £5), subject to availability and registration.

There will then be a second batch of tickets coming out on sale at 9am on Sunday 5th April 2009. However, to be eligible to purchase a ticket, then you have to register by Tuesday 31st March.

Glastonbury organisers have confirmed that 90% of tickets have now been sold. That is believed to leave around 13,500 tickets still on the market.

Included in the ticket price is a FREE festival programme. Along with a round the neck guide and a cloth bag. You can also purchase car parking tickets. They cost £10 per vehicle, Camper van tickets are also available at £65 per van. However, festival goers may only purchase car parking and camper van tickets either when paying the balance of the tickets, or buying a ticket outright.

This summers Glastonbury Festival will take place at Worthy Farm, Pilton, Somerset and will run for five full days from Wednesday 24th to Sunday 28th June 2009.
