Just like last years event. When organizers opened the campsite a day early, on Thursday evening, to try and avoid any traffic problems.

When are TITP tickets on sale this year? T in the Park 2009 tickets on sale on Friday 28th November!

As a way of offering a huge thank you to T In The Park fans for voting T in the Park to victory in the ‘Best Line Up’ category at the recent UK Festival Awards TinthePark organisers are delighted to let slip that there will be an exclusive pre-Christmas sale of tickets to T in the Park 2009.
T in the Park 2009 takes place from Friday 10th - Sunday 12th July and what better way to get through the winter blues than with the thought of soaking up the legendary T in the Park atmosphere come next summer.

You can now put T in the Park tickets on your Christmas list as a limited number of much wanted tickets will go on sale at 9am on Friday 28th Nov and will be available through www.tinthepark.com or Ticketmaster (08444999990 / www.ticketmaster.co.uk).

These festival tickets are the perfect present for the music lover in your life, and - as an additional xmas gift - all ticket purchasers will receive an exclusively designed T in the Park Christmas Card too.

Those not lucky enough to get their hands on tickets this time round should take heart as a further batch of tickets will be made available after the New Year, when T in the Park makes the first of 2009’s phenomenal artist and lineup announcements.

Hopefully we’ll be there, but bookmark this site, as last year a lot of people swapped and sold tickets on The Festivalz site and we even gave some bad press for this ticket scam artist :)

The news has been confirmed by Oxegens promoters MCD. The 2009 festival will take place over three days, on Friday the 10th of July, Saturday the 11th of July and Sunday the 12th 2009.

Just like this year, the campsite will also open an evening early, on the Thursday, to try and combat traffic trouble.

The event is brought to you by Geoff Ellis, the mastermind behind T In The Park. And he has spoken of some of the artists which he hopes to bring to Oxegen. It is believed that Ellis is particularly keen to sign David Bowie, whom he feels he has “unfinished business with”. This is after Bowie was forced to call off his headlining appearance at The Main Stage, in 2004, due to ill health.

The event, the fourth of its kind, is due to take place on Friday the 17th of July, to Sunday the 19th of July. And it will be held at Henham Park Estate, Suffolk. They will keep this year, 2008s,  prices of £130.

The festival will also open its gates a day early, on Thursday the 16th of Juy, for some non-musical entertainment.

This time I am going to program my Nokia N95 phone to remind me which bands I want to see and when they are coming on, so I can get fucked and know where the fuck I am supposed to be going and who I’ll be watching!

If I time it right, I should be coming out of one perfomance and getting a text reminder telling me who the fuck is next. :)

So I decided to personalize it and created a free N95 Theme of my fav artist Ian Brown (he of the Stone Roses, of course) :)

It’s black and classy, you get the idea from the screen shot to the right. Combine this with your fav Ian Brown ringtone and away you go.

A couple of wee tweaks, but I have it installed as my theme on my Nokia N95 and it works a treat.

PS - Obviously you install this at your own risk etc etc. Have it as is.

No warranties. It’s Ian Brown - and a black theme for the Nokia N95.

Should be easy to install if you know how to install themes. I didn’t have a clue but managed to do it in a short time.

Also note - it says it is not compatible, but it is. Not sure what’s happening there.

OK OK so he had a pair of those fucking jeans on that are right doon yer arse, but the music and the atmosphere was all there in the tent on Saturday night!

I had a f*cking magic time bouncing about to all the tunes. He even did ‘Waterfall’ - A Stone Roses number…. highlight for me was Time Is My Everything & Fear.

He must be 45 by now, but he’s still got it! Fuckin’ excellent night as I expected it to be! T In The Park 2008 was excellent! Hope TITP 2009 is as good!
