Deadline Approaching For Emerging Talent

Time is almost running out for any new and undiscovered artists whom wish to perform at the 2009 Emerging Talent Competition. It is held every year at the Worthy Farms main stages at The Glastonbury Music Festival in Somerset. Where the deadline for applicants is steadily approaching.

Monday the 26th of January, at 11PM.

The competition for unsigned acts as been running for five years. It is open to entrants from over the UK and Ireland. Where they will play in front of a panel of music experts. The the eventual winners will perform a spot at the Other Stage or Pyramid Stage at next summers Glastonbury Music Festival.

Those wishing to be in contention must not have had signed with a major record label. Nor signed a contract with a label for more than one album. They have to apply by uploading a maximum of two songs to the competition web site. Which is were applicants will find the terms and conditions of the contest. However, they will have to hurry. if they are going to make the aforementioned deadline. Then it would be too late.
