AC/DC Out Of The Park

The rumour mill has been going into overdrive about which performers are due to appear at next years T in The Park 2009. Although, at the time of writing, there are no acts confirmed.

However, it has been announced, that one act which was thought to be performing, will not be at the festival after all.

Those monsters of rock, AC/DC.

Organizers are expecting over 180 acts to play at the festival over the weekend from Friday 10th to Sunday 12th July 2009. However,promoter Geoff Ellis, from DF Concerts, has stated that those veteran rockers will not be appearing on the bill.

“I can confirm that AC/DC will not be playing at T in the Park 2009.” Mr Ellis said. ” We do not want AC/DC fans to buy a ticket for T in the Park under false pretences as this would not only disappoint them, but also the many people desperate to get their hands on a T in the Park ticket regardless of the headliner.”
